Everything you need to know about booking the Mobile Mulligans Golf™ truck for events across Raleigh, the Triangle, and North Carolina.

1. What is Mobile Mulligans Golf™?

Mobile Mulligans Golf™ is a patent-pending, purpose-built mobile golf simulator experience housed inside a custom box truck. Powered by professional-grade TrackMan technology, it delivers realistic golf gameplay and interactive challenges directly to your event location.

2. What types of events is the Mobile Mulligans Golf™ truck used for?

The Mobile Mulligans Golf™ truck is built for corporate events, team building outings, conferences, trade shows, private parties, weddings, brewery activations, charity fundraisers, fan zones, and large-scale community festivals across North Carolina.

 

Whether you’re planning a company event in Raleigh, a brewery activation in Cary, a game day fan zone in Durham, or a private celebration in Chapel Hill, the truck is designed to adapt to your space and audience. If you have something unique in mind, reach out. We love creative ideas.

3. What kind of sound system is included?

The truck features a premium Sonos sound system that fills both the simulator bay and lounge area with clear, immersive audio. Most events run music to keep energy high, but we can also work with hosts to incorporate game audio or custom playlists if desired. The system enhances the atmosphere without overpowering your venue.

4. What kind of golf simulator technology does the truck use?

The truck is powered by TrackMan technology, providing tour-level ball and club data with realistic 4K course visuals. Guests can play iconic courses, compete in closest-to-the-pin challenges, or participate in fast-paced event formats designed for high-traffic environments. It’s real golf performance technology, adapted for real events.

5. Are golf clubs included?

Yes. We provide a full set of right and left handed adult clubs for event play. Kids clubs are also available, making the experience accessible for younger guests. Events are fully equipped and ready to play the moment guests step inside.

6. Can guests use their own clubs?

Absolutely. Golfers are welcome to use their own clubs if they prefer. The simulator accommodates standard golf equipment without issue. Personal clubs must be clean.

7. Does the truck require power hookups?

The truck is fully self-contained and does not require external power for outdoor events. For indoor setups such as trade shows or conference venues, we can connect to standard shore power provided by the facility.

8. Can the truck be set up indoors?

Yes. The truck can operate at convention centers, conference halls, and indoor venues. The truck is approximately 12 feet tall in transit, so we simply need adequate clearance at entry points and access to shore power. If you’re unsure about your space, we’re happy to review logistics in advance.

9. How much space does the truck need?

For a full setup, we require approximately:
 

  • 36 feet in length

  • 16 feet in width

  • 15 feet in height clearance

 
The truck includes a built-in leveling system, so perfectly flat ground is not required. However, we cannot access steep driveways or entryways that could cause the rear of the truck to bottom out.

10. How long does setup and breakdown take?

Setup typically takes 1 to 1.5 hours with one MMG staff member. Breakdown requires a similar timeframe. We coordinate arrival and load-out timing with your venue to ensure a smooth experience.

11. Do guests need golf experience?

Not at all. The experience is designed for all skill levels. Golfers appreciate the realism and performance data, while non-golfers quickly understand the format and feel comfortable participating within seconds.

12. Can the truck operate in different weather conditions?

The truck is equipped with AC and heat to help maintain a comfortable environment inside the simulator bay. Additional fans are used during warmer months, and a 48,000 BTU standing heater supports winter lounge setups. Severe weather may require a temporary pause or rescheduling for safety.

13. How far do you travel?

We regularly serve Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Chapel Hill, Holly Springs, Wake Forest, and communities across North Carolina. Travel outside the Triangle and North Carolina is available depending on schedule and logistics.

14. How far in advance should I book?

Popular dates — especially weekends and peak event seasons — book quickly. We recommend reaching out as early as possible to secure your preferred date.

15. How do I book the golf truck?

Complete the booking form on our website with your event details.  A team member will follow up via your preferred contact method to confirm availability and help plan your activation. Note: There is a 3 hour minimum on all rentals. A 50% deposit is required to officially secure your event date, with the remaining balance due 7 days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed upon during the booking process.
